David Martin

Joint Managing Director

David has worked with leading brands and retailers in more than 22 countries. He leads his team to invent and reinvigorate the customer experience, develop brand and retail strategy, communications and the retail design environment.

David graduated from The Royal College of Art in London with a Masters Degree in 1990, and worked for a number of agencies including Conran Design. Before co-founding M Worldwide in 2001, he was Design Director at Retail Planning Associates where clients included Swatch, Oasis, Nationwide Building Society, Banco Banif, Rolls Royce, Virgin Retail, Ahold and Metro Group.

David also regularly contributes articles and commentary to the retail media.


Michael Heanue

Joint Managing Director

Michael’s been a specialist in graphic design and communications since graduating from Norwich School of Art in 1985. He works with you to define the customer experience and retail design strategy, then leads his teams to deliver successful brand environments, communications, and digital solutions from concept through to final production.

Before co-founding M Worldwide in 2001, Michael worked in major London consultancies including Fitch, The Design Solution and Retail Planning Associates, where clients included the Natural History Museum London, English Heritage, BAA (Terminal 4), HBoS, Tesco, and 6 National Sports Centres.
